this stool is loosely inspired by Mies van der Rohe's "Barcelona Chair." my dear dear friend David Chatt let me work in his studio with him in the fall of 2009. With him and boat-loads of fun i made the cushions that are in this stool.

underneath the seat mounted to one of the legs is a little hidden box for little secret treasures

I was able to cast quite a few other "cushions" as well and am planning on building a larger bench with these, or am happy to take commissions for other ideas.
