while i was carving the legs on this piece a dear friend of mine went missing. it stirred up all kinds of emotions and memories of our friendship that were buried deep inside myself and events that i had not thought of in 15 years came to my mind. i wrote them down for safe-keeping inside this sculpture - remembering him.
